Could a mod sticky this?

The other Regional boards have a permanent eyeball thread, though it would be good to start one for the Thames Valley?

Spotted - light blue SV (pointy) in Tesco Wolverton (Milton Keynes) - rider had a GB flag helmet.

Hmmmm, don't recognise that description as someone on here. Not that lid anyway.

I'm not sure anyone in the TVSF would have the poor form to actually ride an SV.

Why are you on the SV650 forum then? Not really a necessary post.

Because I used to have an SV650, like lots of other people here.

The situation in the TVSF got so daft at one point that on a ride-out we stopped at Fox's (as it was then) and a bloke walked over and asked "Are you from the SV org?" We replied affirmative, and he explained "I wasn't sure. It's just that, well, none of you are on SVs"

I'm not criticising your or anyone else's choice of chickwheels, just explaining that if you see an SV, the odds of it being someone from the TVSF are pretty small. Most seem to have graduated to something fruitier.

I see - makes sense.

I still think if somebody is on an SV the probability they'll be a member of this forum is high. Sufficiently high for an Eyeball thread, anyway.

I'm technically in the TV area and still have an SV. But then the chances of you seeing me are rare as I don't get many chances these days to get out on the bike...:(

It's a bit of a big area, isn't it?

Which there was one for Buck/Northants...

The bigger the area, the better the chance of people being active in it.

Not that that's worked very well for TVSF.

Didn't work very well for the West London centre of a different "club" I tried to run once either. The area seems not to have enough people who want to get together often enough.

TVSF rule's ok....when we get together, the last ride out would have been around 1826 ish........

Nick (Warthog) still has an SV, but I believe it spends all it's time in the garage these days growing spiders.
