Hi Everyone,
This is my 4th forum- I have been keen members of the following in the past:
hiluxsurf forum, KLR forum, Toyota Gt turbo.
I collected my ebay purchase yesterday was looking for a bike for about 6 weeks- 4.5 hr by train and 200 miles back on the 2001 red SV650 sk1. Is this refered to as a Curvy? Very impressed. Not tiring even though it was windy I got 61.5 mpg. This is my 14th bike and I`ve had my licence for 20 years so I`m not a newbie to riding. My last bike was a KLR650 trailee. I ride all year round part from when it`s iced/snowed out. The SV`s seem like a great all-rounder bike. Looking forward to making friends on here and getting all the tips and tricks!
cheers for now!
chris :D

Welcome.

Use the search option on here to look for any bike specific info you need (loads of informative info already)
If you can't find what you're after then all the experts are here to answer your questions. Someone is usually local to lend a helping hand if needed.
For Lancs loook at Pennine Massive regional club for your local info.

Hi Phil, I had a strict budget of £1000 so not many later models available at that price! The train journey involved 3 changes and each change wastes about 20 minutes! Went from Darwen, Lancashire to Gamlingay nr. Sandy in Bedfordshire

So you are a daren lad then, I hope you worship at Ewood.

But when I read you were collecting your new toy instead of watching Arsenal score 5 and still loose. I guess not.

Hi there :)

I cleaned the bike today, changed the oil, sprayed GT85 on the important bits and lubed the chain. Went for a little ride on some back roads over the moors in the sunshine. The ride home yesterday was all straight A1 and that hellish stretch of M62 between leeds and manchester. I hate that motorway- Sun reflecting on the road ahead. Loads of spray and strong winds. Always busy. Both sides were closed due to accidents but I practiced filtering through the traffic. Using the bike for work this week only 3.5 miles each way. It`s going to be parked in a staff car park in the rain but in a garage at home. Nice to find a place I can chat about stuff!
Thanks for all the welcomes! :p
