I haven't been out kite buggying for absolutely ages but went out for a couple of hours today.
The wind was a little light but it was good to get out all the same.
A couple of pics of the buggy:

No, but every summer up Highroadwell Moor on the footie pitches, our dog Bob, gets very upset and barks rather a lot at the guys kite buggying.

Looks great fun, and up there, tiz windy all year round, as you'll know :)

Nope, but I was thinking about it the other day...

How do you get into it, what do you start with?

Dyzio, as a starter I would recommend just getting something about 2 sq mr and do some static flying to get the hang of flying the kite first. You could have a look on kite crowd and see if there are any flyers in your area. A mate of mine moved to Aberdeen so I will get in touch with him and see where he flies. If you do see anybody kiting, I would say to just go and chat to them. Most kiters I know have no problems chatting to strangers about the sport.

The wife has a kite (well she says kite, I call it a parachute!) which she flies every now and again. Great big huge thing it is. The buggy has not moved in the time I have known her and is now a rusted lump in the garden sadly.
