Hello all,

here is my 2007 sv650s sk6.

i bought it on the 28/04/2010 and the previous owner bought it new so has 1 previous owner.

tax runs out end of this month 30/09/2011. i will put a years tax on it. MOT expires on 29/04/2012 and last MOT was done reading 7424 miles in april this year.

bike has 2 stamps in the service book by the main dealer it was bought from by the previous owner.

1st service 31/05/07 at 614 miles
2nd service 18/08/08 at 4197 miles

when i bought the bike i gave it an oil and filter change and have done the same again this year, no service stamps for this as i did it myself.

it has a datatool duo immobilizer with certificate of install.

2 keys. 2 immobilizer chips

the bike has 7870 miles current and may go up slightly as it is still in use, its not and never has been used for commuting just a dry day toy and the condition reflects this. it has absolutely no corrosion or signs of wear. the forks are still clean an shiny and so is all the engine casing. put a new battery on it this year as it doesnt get used often enough so killed the last one.

i have changed the levers to short black levers which feel great, i dont have the originals as i sold them. i have carbon effect bar-ends to match the carbon effect rear indicators. it has a tail tidy. power bronze screen. clear indicator lenses. crash bungs

you have a choice of exhaust, i got it with a fuel can and link pipe, this can had a removable baffle. i then purchased the stubby can which is on the bike now. they both use the same link pipe so to switch it over for you will take seconds, the current exhaust does sound awesome and is fairly loud, its probably illegal but never been stopped and isnt stamped with anything, it did pass its MOT this year with it on.

i also have the seat, grab handle (fitted), and the seat cover that you can also see in the pic as well as the original ''snow plough'' tail unit

both the brakes work great with no squealing, the tyres are still in good condition.

it has a very small stone chip on the tank, i haven't photoed it because well its a small stone chip, other than that its a very mint bike

my only reason for selling is because i want to move away from V-twin and get myself a k6 onwards gixer 600 or cbr 600 rr

if i have missed anything off please let me know. if i dont reply to your email its because my email occasionally send them to junk so either re-send it or call/text me

i dont want anything but cash unless you have either of the two bikes specified, so dont bother asking. I will not ship abroad. I will not deal with a courier for you. I will not except paypal or bank transfer so all you scammers sending massive emails of crap can do 1 :)

What's that red reflector on the registration plate? I bought my SV650 a few weeks ago, same year and colour as yours, and it had that reflector on it's registration plate in exactly the same place. Maybe just luck.

Very tempted! Let have a think!

Sticky reflector is required by law.

Yes mate have a think :)

And yes required by law although most people don't bother, I don't want any trouble from the fuzz, it only sticks on so can be removed for you rebels :)

Since the bike has a tail tidy, the stock reflector is gone. However it's a MOT requirement hence the adhesive one.

Free bumpage.

And my bike has one of those button reflectors too but mine is stuck to the numberplate light so it is hidden between the red strips of the stop/tail light, but it is there and not obscured from behind so all nice and legit.

:) If I could have got over there I'd have taken a look at this - I guess train would have been an option!

The buyer wants the fuel can so have the short pipe left

Find it easy to sell? Going to put my 2007 sv for sale as i'm buying a brand new BMW f800GS. However not sure what the market is like and what price.

Took about 3 weeks. About 40 watchers on eBay and about 5 genuinely interested people

As long as you get the price right you should be fine
