Ok, as much as I don't want to my, teenage daugther wants an Ipod for Christmas.

Now I'm dead against buying one of Mr Jobs infernal devices, but she says its all she wants. Nothing else will do or be required.

She wasn't happy last year because she got nothing she wanted (wifes fault as she'd bought everything way before christmas :()

So I don't want a repeat of last years unhappiness

So can I buy Mp3 from Amazon say and load them on via Itunes

Plus all my colection is digitised and either MP3 or Wav files

I do not want to be lining Mr Jobs wallet with my hard erned cash if I can help it

Yeah I got my daughter a classic 160GB last christmas. She still hasn't filled it. I get her the mp3 albums etc she wants. That way she doesnt have to face the porn etc when hunting for torrents. Although these days I use usenet. Far more civilised.

I've got a old 80gb classic (came out about the same time as the original touch) and I ain't filled it, its hardly gone wrong and is spot on for music
