hi all, had major problems with my sv400 and had enough of it now, spent over a month working on it and still no joy :mad:. so, sv650 curvy engine wanted, carbs and ecu aswell if anyone has any?!! pm me if any one could be of help. thankyou, Lauren

Expensive but low miles, It'd be cheaper to buy a whole curvy and strip it

Thanks beabert but i got a new head and got it running now its started smoking cannot get the head gaskets so no chance with the rings just think it would be better in long run to fit a 650 lump lauren:confused:

That ones just for the engine. But the idea is sound. A cheap Curvy could be had for the engine and the other bits you need and the rest of the parts sold to cover the cost. However I'm not sure if that will actually work out any better for you then putting the 400 up for sale and using that to cover the cost of a 650. Time to sit and do the math...

Shame you missed out on that engine though as £250 is a good price, I don't pay more than £350 for an engine.

there's one in a breakers up here in scotland that there looking for 250 but i think you'd get it for about 200
