Basically a cosmetic makeover, but not a bad effort.

Thoughts ?

Cheers Mark.

I am considering one of these as a next bike. Tempted to go book a test ride on one. I want something thats going to be a good Touring machine and this seems to be fitting the bill. Plenty of accessories available too.
They look all right, even with a little bit too much black plastic on the front end.

if you wait a bit and suzuki do their normal, they should bring out a touring version next year with full luggage.

Cheers Mark.

Will wait and see what they do deals wise over the next year and start saving up. I do fancy a look at what Triumph have on offer too

Might have a look in the local stealers at one of these.

Face only a mother could love!
The copper/ Ginger colour is not palatable. My local dealer sold one within a week

Still be a good budget tourer/ traile bike as the old one was. TBH the F800/GS has got a bike to challenge it

Cheers bud i might have to go see one in the flesh so to speak. Only thing is i allways leave m&s wishing i was minted, so many nice bikes such empty pockets ;) Ta 'G'

Sat on one in our local showroom a week or so ago. Very tall. Looks alright in the metal though.

Looks like the tiger

I quite like DLs, wouldn't mind a DL1000, reckon that style of bike is supposed to look pig ugly :)

I was reading about them recently in a bike mag, the mag said what a big improvement it was over old one.
I quite like them tbh, probably wouldnt buy one unless mega cheap but seems good bikes for mile munching.

:winner:

I would consider one if I was doing a mega euro tour once a year.
Suzuki should bring back the Thou motor TBH

Pretty ugly, but then that goes with this style.

Thumbs up and good job from me.

Considering one as a replacement for the SV to do the daily commute. I have it up against XT660Z, TDM900, CBR600F Proper One (...I know and I'm sorry ;))

I can live with all that cheap looking plastic and cheapy brake calipers cos of "The Best Little Engine In The World Ever" , the big tank range, the big comfy riding position, ABS, overdrive top gear and at least as frugal to run as our SV's. I'll bet its a hoot to just cut about on too.

I have already been looking how to cut up the exhaust (cos that would have to go obviously)

7G for a commuting hack makes me a little uncomfortable, certainly compared to the other bikes I'm looking at. Pretty sure they will be knocking at least a grand off it next year and thats somewhere I could maybe stretch to.

Black one please.
