Unfortunately need a car for university so the bike going to have to go
2003 Silver (best colour imho) SV650S
Only 19,500 miles
Extras:
Silver Double Bubble Screen
SV650 logo radiator and oil cooler covers
Single seat cowl (colour coded) +pillion seat
Hugger with intergrated rear indicators
Good Bits:
1 years MOT
6 Months Tax
Nearly new tyres front and rear (less that 500miles) Michelin Pilot Sport
Nearly new (less that 1000 miles) Chain and sprokets
New pads front and rear and calliper clean carried out by local garage for the MOT
New front fork seals
New battery
K&N Air and Oil Filters
Bad Bits:
Although being fairly good for it's age, it has a few marks/chips from panniers/stones etc, a scuff on one of the headlamps and the l/h/s clock surround infil has been replaced
Bike has been sitting in my garage for the last 6 months as I was working in the US for the summer and being a numpty I forgot to wash off the road salt in the rush before I left and has suffered rusting in a few areas, however still runs perfectly
The bike is currently SORN as I was away however can tax for 6months/1yr at buyers cost
This is the most reluctant of sales as the SV has been nothing but fun as my first 'big bike' but unfortunately money is tight and a car is the priority at the moment
Ideal first bike
- Low insurance prices (just renewed mine for £350 fully comp and I'm 21 and my mum pays £97 for her sv)
-Comfortable I'm 6'4 and have ridden this all over the UK without any great difficulty, nowhere near as cramped as a thoroughbred sports bike
-Great fun!
I have tried to be as honest as possible, bike isn't perfect, however is mechanically sound. Please contact on the number below if you have any questions
Forgot to mention originally, the bike still has the paperwork declaring it 33bhp although the restrictors have been removed, still have the bits should they be required.
Looking for £1600ono with the rust taken into account
Cash on collection only please
Bike is located in Seaford, East Sussex (between Brighton and Eastbourne)
Will upload pictures when I go back home on friday (7th Oct)
Tel: 07539 081343 for more details
