I've just got the bus home and I put "The Seldom seen Kid" on while I took the ride home and I felt a bit of a fool for crying on the way home when 'Mirrorball' came on.

It makes me think of the best thing in my life, Mrs Chucca (Kirsteen) and I can't help but smile and cry.

Now I'm home I'm sitting here thinking what songs really get to you guys. Happy sad any emotion what song really does it for you?

Savage Garden - I knew I loved you before I met you.

Wish it was 1983 again and I knew then what I know now.

I felt a bit of a fool for crying on the way home

:laughat: and so you should...;)

Every time I hear Mario Winans I Don't Wanna Know I always think of end of year party 1st year of uni, on the dancefloor with a girl out my class I was crazy about. That was on when we 1st kissed. Spent the night dancing and holding hands. And after 2 years of trying thats as far as I got ](*,) haha

Loads of songs remind me of my Cait, but the one that sticks in my head is good ol' Lionel - Stuck on You. We were in Paris and after getting out the theatre too late to find somewhere for a bit of a dance, we went back to the hotel room, dimmed the lights, whacked Lionel on and had a slow dance on the balcony looking out onto the Eiffel Tower :D

Oh and Whitney Houston Million Dollar Bill for all the wrong reasons. After murdering it in this karaoke bar with her mates, they all fell off the stage, pulled half the lighting rig down and knocked a table of drinks flying :smt044

See, these two represent a special moment in time, a turning point. Nobody else get it....apart from one.

Queens - the show must go on. Still can't listen to it without crying. its a reminder to keep going and not to stop just because she's gone.

Rubettes Sugar baby love and Turtles happy together - to make me smile

as for me and him - i don't think we have a 'song' normally cause we can't agree on anything!

I dont much understand the crying at films, so crying at music seems fairly nuts to me.

Sigur Ros Hoppipolla. It was the theme to Planet Earth and I used to sit and watch it every week with my cat. He loved all the David Attenborough documentaries, and would sit fixated in front of TV. Towards the end when he had cancer I would put the DVD on for him that I'd bought him for Christmas and lie with him on my lap. And if that makes me sound like a crazy cat woman, I don't care.

DB I know that song well and never listen to it for the reasons of the thread.

This one still does things with my head as I became to symbolise this period of my late teens, good time massively outweighed by the problems and demons (I love the band and all the other songs but this one does it)
