I remember those front loading aircraft from pictures my Dad took
Don't know how old your Dad was when he did this ride, but if he's 87, he would have been a couple of years older than my Dad, but my Dad would have been impressed with this and especially the Brough
Great black & white photo's, they've been looked after well too

What a fascinating read.:cool:
I'm sure some orgers have taken photos very similar to some of those, and it seems so surreal to be looking at black and whites with cobbled roads!
Especially the picture of the long stretch road as far as the eye can see....seems almost familiar from my French mates travels, sure theres a colour version.
160mph by an old bloke of over 70??=D>
