One for the handy(wo)men... anyone got a recommendation for a gas torch for bits of brazing at home, repairs and the like? I don't need to cut 6mm plate, but my plumber's blowlamp isn't really up to it. I had a look in Machine Mart etc. and there are loads, I don't know where to begin. Ta!

A burner which takes MAPP gas should just about do some brazing as long as you don't wanna braze thick material.

What you thinking of brazing?

I've got a clothes horse where one of the joints has failed (it's slowly turning from white to grey/brass as joints go) and a big steel bolt to stick on the big steel gate (which would probably be better welded but I was going to give it a go anyway). There's always something to fix.
