Sorry if you thought I was giving you secret info, but does anyone have a clue what is happening with next years dates? They usually have provisional dates out by this time.
I've been hearing chinese whispers that they are thinking about taking Knockhill off the calender unless they change the Duffa's section to stop bikes leaving and coming back over the track. I hope this isn't the case.
If its true I'd hope they are doing the same at Cadwell and Oulton Park.

According to BSB forum was supposed to be announced end of October (that was from Stuart Higgs) but no news yet!
Some guy has had a mail shot from Knockhill saying the round is:
2012 MCE British Superbike Championship: Fri 22nd - Sun 24th June
Wonder if Cadwell will get two rounds like in 2010. Never did find out why Brands got three rounds, good for me though as it's my closest circuit.

Apparantly not, it will just be the August round and the championship is over the same number of rounds as this year (12) with 2 triple headers.

A big phew from me then, I'll hold you to that announcement Mr Uki!!!
I took a gamble on our wedding date (15th June) not ending up being Knockhill BSB weekend as we'd certainly be several people short of a ceremony. A fairly extensive list including me and the missus-to-be :smt052, best man, one or two bridesmades and half the pews would be empty too! :D

I don't think it has anything to do with MSV owning both Brands Hatch and BSB, or has it?
Come to think of it they own Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton too, giving MSV 8 of the 12 meetings in the 2011 schedule.
I'd love to see BSB going to the new improved Anglesey track but is Mr Palmer going to give up his one of his meetings to give it to his competitors?
Or am I just cynical?

I think the concern with Anglesey is the current entrance difficulties. Facilities and track wise I think the consensus is that they are more than up to scratch and it would be a welcome addition to the calendar. It sounds like next seasons calendar will be broadly similar to this years. The economic climate was mentioned in Stuart Higgs reply as to the number of rounds remaining at 12.
