K4 / K5 parts for sale - quite a few nice bits!

I’m having a big old clear out of some of the SV bits I seem to have acquired over the years.

Basically I have nearly a whole SV650 K4/K5 worth of parts but from 2 different bikes.

There is a blue K5 bike that I bought as a write off and I’ve stripped it down into all the little bits and pieces – no wheels or bodywork though. That was a project that didn’t really work out!

Then I have a black K4 bike with a full fairing that I’m taking all the road stuff off as I’m making it my track bike.

Here is a list of some of the best parts I have, a brief description, a price that I think it’s worth and the cost to post it.

I can post most things out via Royal Mail or a courier or I don’t mind if you want to come and pick it up from near Boston in Lincolnshire.

I’ve not taken any photos yet, but if you are interested in a part I will do my best to put up a photo for you.

Finally I do have quite a few bits and pieces that I’ve not mentioned although if its possible to damage it in a crash then its been done so no blue bodywork, bar ends etc. But if there is a part you need send me a PM and I’ll tell you if it’s in my pile of bits – electrics, throttle bodies, switch gear etc.

If you wanted to collect, I'm in Lincolnshire just north of Boston not too far from Cadwell Park.

I've started to get all the bits together to so photos should be possible too.

The Evotech tail tidy is very nice indeed but I have to say it wouldn't be the easiest thing to fit, the back end of the bike will need quite a bit of dismantling and putting back together. If you're happy with the spanners and don't rush it then there shouldn't be a problem.

Also I noticed that the right hand fairing lower does actually have a bit of a crack in it, around the hole where the R&G crash bung is. Sorry if I've miss informed anyone.

I thought the pillion seat cover was perfect but I've noticed a small scratch on one corner so I will reduce the price a little.

Please bear with me, I've had loads of PM's which I am very grateful for and I'm doing the best I can and I'm trying to be as fair as possible. I just need to clear out all this stuff to make some room.

But I may get confused with who I've said what to (I can't seem to see what PM's I've sent so unless its in your reply I may forget what I've told you!! D'oh!!)

I think its worth £30 to be honest as they are £68 new and its in decent condition.

I'm around today in Spilsby and at Cadwell Park tomorrow.

If I was going to clean it all up then it would probably be worth over £500.

I know that there is an exhaust stud broken off that needs extracting or drilling out and helicoiling.

But as it stands then I think £350 is reasonable.

Sorry everyone, my house flooded on Thursday afternoon so I've been a bit busy sorting that out.

The good news is no bikes or parts were damaged :)

So, in answer to all the posts since then...

Right Mirror - I've just had a look and this turned out to be a pattern part as it doesn't have a Suzuki part number on it. It also broke when I tried to move the mirror on the stem so that's gone in the bin now - sorry!

Tail Light - I have a none standard unit in very good condition that came off a K3 bike. It has built in indicators just like this one...

I also have a completely standard tail light (actually I have 2 of them) in very good condition and also the whole rear mudguard / rear indicator / number plate holder assembly.

Riders (Main) Seat - yes I have this and its in very good condition - no rips or tears. Off a K3 but I'm sure this fits all injected models.

Rearsets - I have a set of Gilles Rearsets. Although 2nd hand they are perfect and have had no use except to bolt them on a bike and then take them off again. The carbon heel plates are unmarked. Its all in black apart from the gear shift rod which is natural alloy. The gear shift rod does have a small scratch but Probolt do replacement ones (in black) if that was an issue. They are £343 new but I'll take £250 for them including P&P.

Hi, sorry to mess you about but I'll leave the tail light, I was told by my local Bikeshop that the all in ones are now illegal and will fail an mot :/ it's a Shame really

Timofy, yes I do have a lock and key, in fact I have 2 options for you.

1. From a 2005 bike. 1 key with a seat lock and assembly - £20 including p&p

or, if you wanted to keep a single key for the whole bike

2. From a 2003 bike the complete lock set (ignition, petrol cap and seat lock with 2 keys) - £60 including p&p

Yes Shuggy, it's the same Suzuki part number for the pillion seat for K3 to K9 so it will fit fine.
