I feel like laughing more and more each minute goes past in this show. These "travellers" who haven't moved in 10 years and all the idiots who joined in their protest want shooting too.

Why couldn't they just naplam the site and save the £18 million?

I wish the Z list celeb involved and all the hangers on would go do one too!! I feel so sorry for those poor folk who live in the lane nearby and cant sell theyre homes due to the thieving "travelling" scumbags .


I dont want the travellers site there, but then on the other hand, they might turn up 40 miles up the road here in colchester, theres a site planned for them on the edge of town, for sometime in the future, really hoping that doesnt happen either.

Bit harsh.

I agree with the eviction, and couldn't see how it could have been done differently, and had to laugh how they kept saying 'theres childrens here' - well it isn't like you haven't had months to get them out.

Still, I can't help admiring their sense of community....however different it is to ours, it's definately there and strong. Unlike the dreadlocked protestors who are just there to cause trouble.

Got to say, this was the first I'd seen the pictures of it as an actual scrap yard - and if (as was intimated) the site was contaminated, then I'm sure it can't be considered as Green Belt.

The BBC once again showed how useless it is at being impartial.

I live on a new housing estate which the day after they arrived 50 yards across the road. The police hadn't been called here in 4 years and got 6 car broken into the same night they arrived.

the site was a scrap yard apparently before the pikeys bought it. I see a lot of them moved onto the legitimate site next door.

Ive no sympathy with them, they broke the rules on planning, bet if I did with the extension I had bulit on my last house it would have been removed well within 10 years.
