You will either be correct, or incorrect... so 50% (b)

25% would be the answer. ah no 60% it's always C lol.

It's asking what the chance is of you getting it right... 50% is not correct.

At first i thought 25% makes no sense at all as two answers are the same, so it shortens the odds. edit: The answer i picked isnt there lol. 33.3r%

25% if its 50
25% if its 60
50% if its 25

Its how you look at the question.

If you forget the know the values for a,b,c or d the answers is actually 25% both 25%s are still viable options.

Trick question :D. 25% head hurts.

Exactly - so the answer is actually 33% which isn't there so 0%?

The question doesn't ask the chances of being correct if you choose an answer to the question. It asks what would be the chances of your answer being correct if you were to choose an answer at random.

Therefore there is 0% chance of a randomly chosen answer being correct as there is no correct answer listed in the options.

Edit, would help if I could spell...lol ;-)

Zero percent.

25% and 50% are both contradictory, and 60% is plain wrong. So I have a zero percent chance of finding the right answer by selecting from that list at random.

Edit: Pah, GG posted the same thing while I was typing.

Or there Are 4 options abcd so 25%

No...because the question is what are the chances of you being correct if you randomly chose one of those four answers. None of those four answers are correct, therefore, your chances of randomly choosing the correct answer would be 0% :-)

It's asking the chances of you getting the correct answer to THE question if guessed at random... There is no question as such, only the question of a question. You don't know the answer or how many variables there are... so you will either get it correct, or get it wrong... therefore 50%

It's a very old riddle, I remember it from scouts many many moons ago, and the answer is historically 50%. No Argueing.

Ok a lot of thinking later I agree - if you're guessing an answer you don't know what the options are so yeah 50%.

Plus Baden Powels ghost just told me.

EDIT: - Nah, changed my mind again 0%, Baden's a liar

But it's a philosophical question, therefore no correct answer because there is no objectively true answer!
