Yes I said it Christmas, not winter festival or end of year holiday or whatever other pc mad dogooder wants to call it.

SO who is up for a christmas swaree of some description.

Can be anything, a ride and a meal, a day in town, a night in the pub, white water rafting, BBQ, imax, whatever.

I know we are spread far and wide and i think its been edinburgh the last 2 years iirc.

So ideas on a postcard, like i said doesnt have to be a night out, can be anything that involves us getting together for a natter.

First question is pre or post christmas, I know a lot of folks have a lot of work / friend nights out pre christmas and new year parties etc so if the preference is to leave it until Jan/feb then fine. A lot of event places do big discounts post christmas.

Second, night out or daylight excursion,

Third event / activity or alcohol based or a combination, ie zip slide across the clyde then go to the beer hall for pizza and drinks (150 beers) or a meal and tasting session at a distillery..

The possibilities are endless....

Rather than post 3 seperate polls i'll post one 7 question poll, please vote 3 times.
Vote 1 or 2 and 3 or 4 and 5 or 6 or 7... confused, you will be.

Also any of our southern friends who happen to be north of the border at the time are welcome to attend.

is it great minds think alike or fools seldom differ :-)

was thinking of bumping the christmas booze up to the top, but i felt it a wee bit early.

anywaaay i'd be up for doing anything as long as it don't involve sport/running around.

'Happy to do anything anytime anywhere' as long as I don't have anything else arranged on whatever date is decided.

The last option is a bit too much like the old Martini adverts for my liking !!!

I treasure my Karting trophy - on display in the Man Cave - but the simple fact is there isn't enough drinking being done. To the pub, away!

think you should all go wake boarding then whisky tasting to warm up - do something different for a change.
if its pre christmas - I more than likely won't be there - i'm working 6 days and most nights
Post i'm not so sure will depend on contracts - hence why i've not voted

Wake boarding in the summer in a nice hot country is fine by me. I'll spectate if the plan is to do this in January :pale: :p

Was wondering if the Christmas night out was going to happen? Alan and myself haven't seen anyone in ages so would really like to attend if its getting organised!!

Well if nobody organises a pre Christmas night out, I'll conjure one up post Santa time, (because that suits me better :-)), so yes, it'll definitely happen.

Post crimbo get together may be better with all the crimbo parties going on pre crimbo IMO

Post sants is always better - give you something to look forward too in the deep dark depths of January
