GTA 5 Trailer Today 4PM

Im not a gamer by any means, but theres something about the GTA series that makes me want to sit down and play. Ive been waiting for any news of GTA V since 2008. The previous game was the only reason i bought a console.

I really can't wait! Vice city is still the best in my opinion. I really hope this one is set in Miami, though word goes it's more likely to be LA. Who knows though.

I think it would need to be somewhere like London for me to purchase another GTA game. I hope they have something up their sleeve gameplay wise as I'm a tad bored with the series now.

I had a nap since my last post cos was working nights and actually dreamt up a trailer, how sad is that?

Looks pretty sweet though, a nice variety of landscapes there on that trailer. But as mentioned, seeing the city and some cars reveals squat all with what they might have up their sleeves in terms of missions, weapons, driveable vehicles or cool new add ons. Gotta wait and see I suppose, but I'm really peeved it's not set in 80's Miami, ah well.

Off to buy arkham city and uncharted 3 to keep me busy until then.

That looks amazing, I hope they fix the terrible controls that have spoiled previous GTAs for me. It's becoming increasingly apparent that the current gen of consoles are starting to struggle when compared against high spec PCs, BF3 being a case in point. I hope that the rumoured Xbox 720 release date of 2013 proves to be true.

Ah can't beat a bit of the small faces. Ogdens nut gone flake is a tune... Graphics are perty just hope its more fun to play than the last one. It had lost the humour which was a shame!!!

does look good but disappointed that they aren't going for something new, i liked san andreas as it was BIG with lots to do outside of missions, i just didn't like the "gangsta blud'ting" crap that came with it.... good to see they've gone away from that

Yeh that was really annoying. I wasn't a big fan of san andreas. It followed vice city which was impossible to beat, the 80's music and feel, the miami map, and virtually everything else.

San Andreas had naffer graphics compared to vice and even liberty city, compensating it for a larger map perhaps. And the black gangster element was a diasatrous move.

Fortunately I don't see this being a problem in GTAV. The map potentially could be huge, resembling the mammoth size of LA and California state. Also, we could be in for a treat if Las Venturas (Vegas) is in this game. My guess is, we're just as blind after the trailer as we were before it...who knows what they could have up their sleeve.

I hope they dont try cram it on one disc for the 360. Sod the 360.

Ill be buying a PS3 to play it. 4 was laggy on the xbox.

The size of san andreas was superb, but then the vast expanse was often filled with huge amounts of nothing, and took too long to drive so the planes were excellent. Although 4 was smaller area to play, quality and content was way improved.

I recently bought Driver san fran and that is so improved over the old versions that it helps to bridge the gap until next gta arrives.

was much worse on the ps3 i found, it couldn't handle massive police chases or big amounts of activity. xbox seemed to handle it better

Saints Row 2 was the game GTA 4 should have been, and Saints Row 3 is out soon. Not that I'll be playing anything but Skyrim for the next year or so! The trailer looks good though, hope those are in game graphics.

IMO saints row 2 is not half the game gta 4 is. GTA really captures the atmosphere of a real city. Where saints row 2 is wooden and dull. GTA feels like you are in the game; not just playing it.

never tried copying it to the hdd, got to say I never bother doing that with any game unless its compulsory like with bf3
