When your waiting for someone to turn up, do they never turn up when you want them to?

In this catagory:-
Postman
courier
builder

But adding to my short list is someone is coming to buy my campervan today. They're coming from the other side of the country, so I'm being patient, but I'm bored now.

Because you're waiting in, there's not much you can get on with until they've arrived. I've done all the chores.

Bored now

You could always play on the internet until they arrive... oh you are ;)

I was expecting them after midday, but its dragging on now

Plus I have a sick child at home & a wife who was on nights last night, so I have to tiptoe around whilst she was sleeping.

So when they arrive they'll ring your doorbell waking little sicky & the wife? eep!

wifey is awake now, so at least I can go to my garage and play with my spanners.

If I was this late I'd ring the buyer just to say where I was.

Until they turn up, I have this bad feeling I'm being wound up

Totally should buy an Xbox360 and should have been killing baddies on battlefield3 all day.

Sick child had priority to the Tv, otherwise it would have been Black Ops on the Wii

is black ops any good on the Wii? i used to play world at war & loved it on the Wii but it's been PS3 for all the ones since

Its ok, but like most things with the Wii, the remotes don't have that fine control.

But I've never played it on another games console, so I don't know what they're like.

As long as everyones in the same boat & has to put up with it I don't mind. I was half convinced some people were using keyboard & mouse though which made it a bit unfair. Don't think I could go back to those graphics now compared to some nice PS3 HDness

The graphics on Black Ops on the Wii are pretty good compared to a lot of othe Wii games, but obviously not HD

I have been waiting in for them to collect the hire car I had yesterday. Last week they collected one at 9am and three days later one at 5pm. It is a pain.

The better the graphics the more strain on the processor & the more jumpy the game - things are way to impressive looking now, we've been spoilt. It should all be about the gameplay - Mariokart is still the best game ever made.

Waiting for DavePreston to be first in the pub and get a round in. I guess hell will freeze over before that happens.

Well I've waited in all day, but it would seem I'm the victim of an elaborate EBAY hoaxer, she, yes she, seemed quite genuine when I'd spoken to her.

I'd had messages via Ebay from her, but unfortunately I'd deleted them

Even when I rang her on Tuesday to answer her text question, her child was crying in the background.

I rang her on Sunday and a male who answered the phone said she'd had a family berevement, so couldn't come to the phone. He sounded genuine too.

If she'd changed her mind about buying my campervan, then a text message would have been the polite way to say so if she couldn't face calling me. :(

But most normal folk would have tried to contact me, so thats why I think its been a big wind up :(

I loose my faith in human nature with this kind of thing

We've all been there. The chap that called and asked about my curvy was the same, said he'd let me know when he was coming, had to keep the phone to hand all the time because of it, never called. Then out of the blue he called a week later and ended up buying it. People do suddenly find something cheaper/nearer and don't get back to you unless that other deal falls through. It is a bit rude but that's the selfish society we live in.

Good luck with re-advertising it.
