Seen a good show recently?

Went to see 'War Horse' on Saturday. If you only get to see one show make it this one. It's truly awesome...a proper emotional roller coaster of human and animal suffering, war, love, blah blah...just absolutely fan dabby dozy!

I have this show to thank for my youngest finally wanting to learn how to read. We saw a small section of the show (Warhorse stuck between the German and English lines) at the Olympia Horse Show last December. He loved it so much he was desperate to read the book to find out the whole story and then Wifey took him up to London in the summer to see it is a reward. They both absolutely loved it. And I'm a bit jealous.

Two that we've seen recently at Chichester:
Singing In The Rain (which has now moved to the West End) which was superb, complete with rain on stage!
Sweeney Todd - also excellent. Moving and funny and Michael Ball & Imelda Staunton were both fantastic.

Also saw Chess a few months back at Southampton. One of those shows I'd always been interested in but missed first time round. Really good, glad I went when the opportunity came up again.
