Buy a Haynes manual, it'll tell you in there. Coolant most likely drop of a hose from the rad, then refiill. Spark plugs front is easy, you'll need an extension bar on your socket set, rear need to remove a few parts to get to it, lift tank been so many years since I did one I can't remember. Cleaning calipers and carbs - if they work then maybe best leave them alone if you don't know what you're doing, carbs are especially best left alone if they work.
Someone's got a link to the workshop manuals PDF download in their sig. Way better than Haynes, I'll put the link up if I can remember who it is

Search for Electro he's got the PDF's linked.
Coolant change normally requires a new crush washer and bolt.
Are the brakes sticking?

brakes are fine and so are carbs i think, just fuel economy is very poor at the mo, and thought id clean the carbs out, and well the brakes just want to make sure their not full of ****, as i need them in top condition for winter.
ive changed the oil + filter ( the only things i can do ) and well cant get hold of my mechanic to do the above ^^ for me. so whether to give it a go my self or not :/

This is for the curvy coolant, oil and spark plug change.

For the coolant, a good tip I read is to reverse steps 1&4. If you take the radiator cap off last, it will save fishing for the drain plug and washer as the vacuum will stop much coolant coming out.

For a 2007 SV, look here http://bolty.net/sv650/
For bleeding brakes and lots of other stuff, take a gander at http://www.svrider.com/tips/tips.htm
Hope this helps people. There is some stuff on the org FAQ page, but not much with pics.
I recently changed the plugs on my pointy. the tank needs lifting to access the rear plug. to access the front the little plastic radiator guard needs removing, then take the radiator bolt out. the radiator will still be held on by the other side.you can then ease the radiator out of the way to access the plug. just need to pull the leads from them. u need a deep socket (I think it was 16mm).

The tool(s) you need should be in the tool pouch on the bike - they are on a curvy anyway.

Spark plug socket is about £6 from any tool shop or bike dealers
