That is a waste of time.
Sorry I do apprechiate that its bloody incredible but that guy must really hate spending time with his wife if doing that seemed like the better option.

Cool!
For three V12s in one engine see this page: Clen Tomlinson (http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Tomlinson.htm).
Gobsmackingly brilliant!

People still need their own time to do the things they enjoy.
Happy or not.

Good point, think about those of us that do track days, we just spend our time riding around in circles consuming petrol and polluting the atmosphere! :D

I think its mega cool, utter respect to the guy.
Id never have the ability or patients to build one myself, very talented.
Almost as cool as that scaled V12 ferrari featured on one of clarksons programs, that ran and had a working gearbox etc.

His wife probably loves the lack of hassle...
It's good to show his engineering talent, but I think it needs to run something to be a bit more interesting. It is rather dull IMHO.

Exquisite bit of engineering. Had to view video with the sound off as was at work. A couple of questions....
1) Assume it wasn't actually running at the end, had a sneaky listen and it seemed too quiet. Also lack of spark/glo-plug unless it was diesel but would then expect hefty fuel injection setup... Remember the Clarkson program one as having quite a "bark" to it....
2) No lubrication or cooling - won't it seize? Or is it just a desk toy and there's enough slack for it all to turn over fairly quickly (air powered) without really heating up.
I'd still love one of those as a desk ornament though....

so much better a working Ferrari flat 12 engine, fully working scale model. I was going to post this link....
Needs sound for best effect.

Mildly interesting.
I wish I had that kind of time and money to waste, I'd be out riding.
Plans for a radial Engine (http://www.agelessengines.com/) anyone?
Perfect for all those divorcees out there! :-)
