Hi, hopefully someone more electrically minded than me can help me out.

Was checking and tidying up the wiring loom for my heated grips that I installed a while back. During the process the bike alarm went off...didn't know why but later discovered that one of the splices i put in, broke.
Fixed the problem, and turned the ignition on. Everything seemed to work fine apart from the grips. Tried to start the bike but no luck, all I could hear was a clicking sound from the ignition relay.

Checked all wires and connectors, all is fine, not melted or broken.
Checked all fuses, all main fuses are fine and not melted. Only found the fuse for the heated grips (that I installed myself) blown.

Not sure what's caused this, the heated grips have been working fine for more than a year!

What works: All lights, display is correct, fuel injection primes as normal.
Is it possible to damage the ignition relay without blowing the fuse?

All help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Replace the fuse.
Bump start the bike or charge the battery and off you go.

You appear to have a flat battery...
