Looks like pcworld have made an error on the price of this laptop
£115 when it should be £350
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/advent-monza-e1-a15rv03-15-6-laptop-green-11242069-pdt.html
Might be worth a punt if you have a bit of cash free, the worst they can do is refund your money and not sell you the laptop
Ive just ordered 1, i recon less than 1/100 chance of getting it but its risk free gambling:)

I've ordered one.
There's a recent precedent for this sort of thing...

I've got an advent laptop which I've had since 2006, apart from a new screen (random crack appeared) and a keyboard its been a good laptop.
I'd take another for that price but I'd be amazed if it got shipped albeit it's false trade description and should be honoured.
They will claim it's out of stock or something.

Just looked at some reviews, and alot say it's really bad. That's probably why they are selling so cheap.
However if you are using it just to browse the internet or something else that is not so demanding then it's a good price.

Prepare for dissapointment...
This is a laptop aimed at long times away from the mains rather than processing power.
The year and a half old Toshiba I have at work is an AMD QL-65 CPU, which using te PassMark CPU Benchmarks is about half as good again as this Advent, with (1078 vs 780)
My 4 year old Desktop machine that I just upgraded was an AMD X2 4200 - which scores 1157, compared to my new system at 6646.
In saying that I tend to really push my machines, so the laptop in question is going to be more than fine for browsing/youtube/facebook

Well, I've just clicked the link in the OP and the product is still being advertised at £115 as a web only, with an In Store price of £349. It's just let me put one in the basket but it won't let you actually checkout. Still, if it is a "pricing error" the fact that it's still up on the site, encouraging people to shop with PC World, is probably a breach of some law or other.
I hate PC World. I hate PC World a lot.

They are worth what people are willing to pay to for them, people walk into pcworld and pay £350 for these so you could say its worth £350.
I would never own one of these to use, however they are easily worth £115 to me as I can make a profit from them.
I have decent spec machines and like to keep up to date but not everyone wants/needs a high spec machine and to be fair laptops at this pricerange kick the cr4p out of netbooks in terms of performance.
But I will stick with my i7 / 8 gig ram laptop:)

They can *sometimes* have great deals on price/spec but I would always use an independant for servicing or repairs.
Most manufacturers have some kind of offer on at Christmas time and will work with one retailer specifically for the headline deal. It takes a lot of effort from marketing and both sides but it's a good time to hunt for bargains as we're all looking to increase unit sales.

For when I'm working away a £115 laptop would be fine or my needs, bit of web surfing, bit of word & Excel work.
Same goes for my daughter, she wants a laptop for Christmas, so she's asked for money from family. She'd not need any more processing power than this one.
Bit too much snobbery about laptops & PC's in general, if it does the job YOU need it to do then why pay over the top for something you're not going to use to its full potential.
£115 bargain

If you are in need of one, I believe I can get my paws on refurbished units complete with 3 month warranty.
They'd be around that price, probably not as good a spec but a better manufacturer!
Just thought I'd say if it helps - message me if you want me to enquire.

Cool
I'm all right as I've got a little netbook and daughter has robbed the old laptop from my wife, until she can buy her own.
I suspect the little madam will not be happy with any old laptop, it'll have to have all the bells & whistles on it, as she's already asked for an Iphone 4s (no!) Blackberry, HTC Desire, she has expensive tastes.
Depends on how much money she gets I think, although the old laptop is running on XP, she happy with that so long as the internet is running ok at home. Which it wasn't yesterday.
Thanks fr the offer, we'll see what Santa brings her

Just let me know, I'm happy to help.
And don't worry it'd be via work, not my supply of off the lorry goods which benefit me personally.
