Hi all, was wondering if anyone could recomend me a set of warm gloves, dont want to go down the heated grips/gloves route or muffs/ handgaurds. Just wondering whats the best glove for warmth like a 'tog' rating system :S. Any suggestions would be much appreciated as my hands are starting to hurt after rides as its so fujin nippy out there. cheerz

Heine Gerike (sp?) Pathan in either five or two finger style.

I have both. Five fingers for cold, two finger for very cold. The two finger version has a fleece inner for the first and second finger, split from the ring and little finger. It allows two finger braking and they are so warm, they are reserved for only the coldest rides.

Brilliant kit.

Pete ;)

Cheers Pierre. I had some Spada Storm gloves last year. They were great when I 1st bought them, but seem to let the cold through now, so looking for some decent gloves.
Off to HG tomorrow I think :)

I have a pair of Spada Enforcers which are pretty decent. Warm and waterproof.

I gave up on trying to find a pair of decent gloves that gave me both warmth and feel. Instead I bought one of these (http://www.keisapparel.co.uk/?product=keis-sleeved-heated-jacket) and with the heated sleeves and neck it keeps me well toasty. I'm still using my summer gloves and my hands don't get that cold on the daily commute (warm core = warmer blood flow = warmer hands and feet).

I still have a pair of Spada Force 2 gloves (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=168582&highlight=spada) (brand new size large) if anyone wants them cheap.

Pretty sure the Spada Enforcers are Ride magazines top choice below £60

I've got the same gloves as BP, warm enough, although mine need replacing

Recently bought some Ixon Pro-Fenders and they are absolutely excellent. I've had Gericke Pathans in the past but these Ixon ones knock spots off them and aren't anywhere near as bulky.

You have to buy a size larger than normal - I usually take XL gloves but these are 2XL... Yes ladies, I have extremely large hands ;-)

Been to HG & got me some gloves. The bloke in the shop turned around & said warmest gloves I'll ever buy. 2 year warranty, no repairs, they just replace them. I'll be trying them out on Monday. When I mentioned about them not having much crash protection, he said " well, in this weather you shouldn't be going that fast anyway" fair point :)
