My fave ferry is the Glenelg ferry... As posted in GM banter. Its only a short 5 minute crossing but the ferry is sweet and the roads either side of it are outstanding for their beauty.

As a kid I used to love the ferry at North/South Queensferry when we were going to Edinburgh. Lovely old steam paddleships and they always seemed to be crowded,
