You want to put in Ring's new bulbs, they're called "Xenon Ultima" +120.
I just fitted a set to my van and the difference from normal Halogen was brilliant, getting another set to go in the SV now.

I use the Halfords Super Brilliance type to good effect, something like +50% so I'm hoping they will be a little more robust the the +90/+100% types. 18 months so far and looking good. Very bright and white for reasonable cost.

Osram Nightbreakers get the Ride magazine recommend rating I think
anyone tried the more blueish lights? quite like them but not sure if they'd look rubbish

Phillips Xtreme Vision +100's are what I use on the Daytona, brilliant bulbs.
On the SV I used Osram +50's and upgraded the wiring, gained about 2 volts at the bulb which almost doubled the light output. Edit.. (+80%)
This is worth a read (http://www.triumphrat.net/speed-triple-forum/120338-headlight-performance-improvement.html)

Interesting reading on the Triumph site, think i'll have a measure on mine to see what the voltage drop is,

I thought the same so have just ordered the Eastern Beaver Dual H4 loom. I could have made it myself but the quality looks superb plus I needed other bits as well so an Xmas treat for my SK6.
