Is the HID kit still for sale?
I was thinking of putting in on the car but not 100% decided yet. You can have it for £50 posted if you've seen the original listing.

Tempting... Do you have some more details about the kit? What temp/colour. Is it both lights and are they high/low and what size ballasts.

Had 2 quick test rides on Sunday (2x 10 miles) with the new pegs. They seem to have made a big difference in that my legs now seem more relaxed (less loaded) and I can feel my weight actually resting on the seat through my butt rather than legs. But I had to extend the gear shift outwards by about an inch otherwise my boot was miles away and gear changing also impossible. This is a known 'feature' of the slightly wider Buell pegs. So far so good, looking forward to try them for real when back on the road in Spring.

They are HIDS4U 55W ballasts with 5000k bi-xenon hi/low H4 bulbs. I found them a bit hot for my comfort when fitted to the SV, that's why I'm thinking they may be better suited for a car with projectors.

@MJC-DEV - Indeed they take a while to get used to them but on the on longer journeys I think they make a positive difference.

Ok. Thanks for the info, I'd be putting them on my SV so maybe the heat thing would be an issue.
