Im trying to get a new folding washer for my pointy's front sprocket. On the parts fiche it only shows the washer with the spline shape in the middle. And I just phoned the suzuki dealer and their fiche shows the same. He said maybe the spline one had superseeded the folding one?
I'd like to get a folding one for piece of mind. Does anyone know where to get them?
That's the right one though isn't it?
The splines on the washer mean it's unable to move on the shaft so locks the nut when you fold it over.
If the washer just had a round hole in the middle, it would be locked to the nut but could still spin on the shaft.
Or am I missing something? :)

No, you're right Tam, the locking washer is splined, but doesn't show the locking tab on the fiche
Oh right, they've got a tab on them as well? I knew one of us was being thick and suspected it might be me. Everyday's a school day. :)
I've only ever seen the ones you attack with blunt things until one side of the washer folds up.
So, in answer to your question Darren...no idea, sorry :p
