Big thumbs up to TomTom who have sorted out a broken bike mount under warranty within the space of about a week.

Asked where I bought it and what date, I had sent them a picture of the broken mount already, they asked whether it was a charging mount or a normal one, then shipped me out a replacement no quibbles. They didn't ask to see proof of purchase and they didn't ask me to send the broken one back.

It's just customer service as it should be, but unfortunately nowadays you don't expect to get it, so when you do it leaves you impressed.

Yeah I had a similar service from Tom Tom after Halfords said, no the accesories were not covered under warranty.

They replaced my in car charger after it broke when taking it out of the cigarette lighter in the car and also replaced the suction mount after is stopped sucking :lol:

I did have to provide proof of purchase but this was no problems and they sent them out straight away :D
