Changing brake lines?

Seeing if a Honda CBR400 NC23 petrol tank looks better on the floor or on a bike?
Yep the NC23 tank on the floor the abandoned project bike. :-x
Changing brake lines is right. Except the Donkey's gave me the wrong thread banjo bolt for the master cylinder.
So I had to re-thread their bolt to suit... :smt013

Re thread their bolt? Is that really a good idea?
Yes it's dodgy to rethread a bolt but I knew it was either going into the bin and wait for a bolt to be sent out.
So I took the dies at it. It was tough to rethread but I got there slowly. Out of about 12 threads it lost half of one. And after through cleaning, thread filing and ultrasonic bath cleaning I installed the bolt.
It should be ok all it needs to do is squish the copper washers so there's no leak.
Which i why i left it overnight with pressure on the lever and some paper to see if there's any leaks.

He's not the only one with a NC23...
At the risk of vultureisum, if there are any performance parts then I would be interested to talk more.
No performance parts. Just a standard grey import with no plastics.
Just back from a very cold winter run. I could even see my breath inside my visor! Thank the lord for proper windproof bike gear.
It's all good. Beforehand I was very annoyed at the 2 stage brake lever i had. To go into detail. I would pull the lever a little the brake you could tell engaged a little. Then you just kept pulling more and more, all the time the rate of deceleration was the same...
Then suddenly the brakes bite like a shark... It really doesn't help when the forks are so soft on the SV having a non progressive brake makes them go up and down faster than a thai hooker. :D
But now.... Feels like a normal brake. Next stage see what sort of springs are in those forks and change the fork oil.
P.S. Gratius to the Admin who deleted my double post.
