Well as of the 30th of december I'm now an sv owner, pointy so to all the curvy owners, sorry:D. The ride home was an experience in torrential rain then realised the tyres were the factory d220 dunlops, wheel spinning on the straights in third gear , first port of call new tyres, either storms or pirelli angels.

I've got Angels on my Duke and love them. Can't comment on the storms...they were my second choice. Got mine from bikesppeduk.com great service and price got them fitted locally.

Heard good things about the angels, bike shop wants to sell me dunlop roadsmarts but considering how bad these tyres are thats on the bike I think I'll steer well clear, want something thats decent in all conditions :D. The bikes only done 2,500 miles so rides like new, my first v twin and I'm loving the torque.

Tidy bike (for a pointy ;)) got pr2's on my curvy and there good in wet or dry imho. Being a pointy you will have to call it Prometheus as its far to modern to be a Sulaco :D

If I called it prometheus I'd be riding a Gladius, :D, could call it the betty although alien resurrection is best forgotten :D.

The local bike shop has already mentioned the can, although there touting for business and pointing me in the direction of a scorpion. Need tyres first, want to be actually staying on the bike round bends without people hearing me coming in the next county :plod:
