Sv650s K5 Black Fully Faired :( bye bye

The mrs decided to inform me last night that she wants me to keep the Sv so she can learn and use it.

i'm sad as i now need to find money for me to get a new bike BUT... i get to hear that exhaust sound :D :D :D :D :D

Well After almost 5 years of joyful ownership i've decided i fancy a change (probably the worst idea ever, and i'll regret it as soon as i hear her being ridden away)

Well details are:


Its a 2005 (55 reg)
Pointy and Black and MEGA loud & spits flames! (i do have a baffle for that yearly visit to mot man)

Comes with :-
tail tidy and small indicators
Colour matched Suzuki lowers
Oval Stainless Steel Fuel Exhaust can
R & G crash bungs
New rear tyre
MOT is just short of a year, tax up end feb.
Double bubble screen.
Seat cowl
New rear sproket & chain about 2k miles ago.
I'm sure there is more but i don't want to write it all as part of me doesn't want to sell!

I have lots of original parts as well, such as original exhaust,
Original tail (fender thing/snow plow)
Original indicators and Engine bolts (from the r&g bungs) and a few other bits in a box. Haynes manual as well.

Will post again with mileage but its used daily to get to work so that will increase.

I have pictures and youtube, but i'll post up more later for the advert.

I'm in Glasgow and looking at other prices i'm guessing about £2600ish

I'm in work just now but take the bike home, so will be able to give you an acurate one when i get in.

Just home, i usually leave it on trip b so i can see how many miles since i filled up,

Mileage is just short of 20k, so for the 7 or so years she has been about thats just under 3k a year,
so reasonable mileage for age! (as mentioned it will continue to go up as i use her daily)

Re-awakening this thread,

I changed jobs about 6 months ago and the bike just doesn't get used anymore.
Nothing different done since last put up for sale, besides colour isn't black with red, now its Black with Green (as in new pics)

Also have a rear hugger i've not fitted as don't have the bolts.

I've noticed that Sv's are being bought up as its pretty much perfect for all the restriction laws.
so get a beautiful, well cared for one that was my first big bike!

It is beautiful but I would personally say it's marginally to expensive for a 7-8 year old SV with 20000 on the clock.

ahh see i've changed my idea to a VFR, so me and the mrs can go out touring,
i get days off during the week, she runs her own business so we could take a few days
midweek for a nice hoon/tour!
