Parents in law (in France) have just bought my son a quad. It's 100cc and he's 4 years old
So he's not going to ride it alone until he's older obviously, but the quad is easily big enough for him to sit between my knees, and my father in law already has a 250cc Yamaha Raptor which he might be on if my wife is on the 100cc.
So he's going to be doing some quad biking (in France) and needs some gear.
Where do I get a helmet for a child that age? What about protective jacket, gloves, etc? Any recommendations?
Thanks
bikers world in coleshill usually has alot of offroading gear for younguns, not sure about a 4yr old but they do some teeny tiny helmets.

Ghost Bikes are pretty good for kids stuff. Is there a local MotoX store near you?
I bought a lid for my lad off ebay, but it was a store, not an individual. I also got him his body armour from ebay too. The thing with kids is they grow quick so there's always a healthy market for stuff that's not too old on ebay which means not only can you pick up a bargain, but if you look after it, it's easy to move on.

I hate to say this, but ebay is the answer for the clothing, there is always good kit available because the kids grow so quickly. My kids are old enough to have big enough heads for the helmets to come from local bike store.

Hi RALPH, have a look at these, http://www.jtsbikerclothing.com. Very helpfull took my grandson there, you may recall him in a grey/white camo suit.
Also there is a firm I think called Babybiker in Leomington nr Coventry that specialises in junior wear as the name implies.
Did your friends in London find an SV (note from another thread) as mines about to go, just a cheeky thought.

Who knows, maybe he'll develop the skills, but if he has Despres attitude he won't get a chance to ride round a rally course, because I'll be kicking him round it!
