Hello all back on a bike after 5 year lay off due to very bad accident. live in Wantage Oxfordshire, not sure if Thames Valley is the correct area for the place I live?????
It is but as you will see, it's not all that active at the moment. Used to live in Newbury and loved the Newbury to Wantage road. :)

Er, right you are then.
Hiya,
As soon as the weather temp goes into double figures, have a meet up at fox's cafe / "H" cafe.

Ello buddy. I am in Tadley, just north of Basingstoke, so not that far away. Would be up for getting involved in some ride outs when the weather heats up a bit.

I'm just up the road in Oxford. 100 miles commute has rather killed any desire to do yet MORE riding, but you never know, Imay venture out some weekends in the summer. quite often pop into H's cafe for a brew wheni'm coming past.

If only... no car so its the bike or nowt for me. Its not a bad route when the lighter days are here, but in the depth of winter I take the A34 - M4 - boooooooooooooring.

Feel for you at this time of year mate, its the car for me.

Mine's only 12 miles each way, but it still takes 45 minutes on average.
Or an hour and a quarter by train. Not exactly a tough choice.

You must be mellowing Ogden - even I can manage Hampshire to Hackney (girlfriends place) in just over an hour, and that is on the barge ;-)

Mellowed? MELLOWED??
I've just bought a bike with heated grips, a scottoiler, and less than 140bhp.
You bet I've mellowed. At this rate I'll have a Honda at some point.
(That's a lie, obviously. I'd never own another Honda)

It can happen to the best of us you know. One day you wake up and BAM - you have a Pan in the garage ;-)
Er - I should point out that I DO NOT have a pan euro...yet
Wash your mouth out, you filthy oik.
