Ok, so have the house to myself tonight, have bugger all to do, nobody to go and see, no work that needs to be done, I've flown and crashed the remote control helicopter I got for xmas about 100 times already, I'm bored of the top gear reruns on Dave, so I guess I should watch a movie.

I got 6 new blurays/dvds for xmas, still in their shrink wrap. I've seen them all before, but like em all too. So ... I've cracked open the magners, I've got my feet up ... which movie should I be watching?! Your suggestions please. I will watch the winning video at 6pm while I eat some spag bol.

No, the one next to it.

Yeah.

That one, it's great!

Are we guessing any of the 6 titles or the one you will be watching?

I took so long trying to be clever writing my poll ..... I didn't realise the post appeared before I hit submit.

*Hangs head in shame*

Pete has unofficially voted for no2 (Letters from Iwo Jima). "That one, no the next one" .. OBVIOUSLY no2.

Mr Idle Biker has unofficially voted for Terminator, and is a Bale lover.

Useless Pete. Am I supposed to get ****ed without any tele?!!? What am I gonna pass out in front of? :D

Dave ... not seen Serinity for a long time. Only seen it once years ago. I like your thinking.

The one directed by Clint sounds like a great film might have to watch it myself love a film thats not biased to the americans during wars

Probably worth mentioning that there is a new episode of top gear tonight...

As far as the films go, it depends how much you want to engage your brains - I'd go for Rambo, but that's because I don't want to tonight.

me too, I was originally going to say 'serenity for old times sake'...but thought that probably wouldn't make sense! I've not watched it in years either, might have a looksy tonight

Only seen it once, but I remember it being an awesome film. As you said, unbiased, well directed, and really respectful to the Japanese. It's a partner film to his American one (Flags of Our Fathers) but I asked for this one and not for Flags because I remember this one being much better. Definitely worth a watch mate.

I'm onto my second can of Magners already, and I'm a lightweight. So I think an emotional war movie may not make much sense by 6pm. :D
