Excluding those that reside on here.

Two and a half years ago my two sisters and I instructed a local Solicitor to deal with probate. During that first meeting the solicitor was told quite clearly what my parents wishes had been with regards to the estate and how it was handled. To say they screwed up is a mild understatement... I gently roast them at gas mark 4, lightly baste, and get a £400 rebate on the bill.

Whilst I was in hospital in November, one of my sisters decides stuff it, we'll do the sale of the bungalow with another law practice. Cue the first practice playing silly bu99ers with the deeds, and then not sending over all the papers and then losing my dad's death cert.

Anyway, that gets sorted 5 weeks ago, and I email practice number 2, no reply, followed up by 2 phone calls, no call back, and a visit today. The Solicitor, in receipt of everything, has done nothing. Not one single thing.

Thankfully the buyer is mad keen on the bungalow but ffs...:smt093:smt093:smt093 the one time you need them to be especially good, i.e. when dealing with your parent's Will/probate/estate and they... aarrgghh!
