Saw this today in Nene Valley Motorcycle Centre in Wellingborough, thought a few on here might appreciate the work. It's for sale at £2700! (though I'm not affiliated with NVMC at all and the intention of this thread is not to advertise, simply to share)

Not to everybody's taste perhaps, but I love motorcycles to be a bit unique, and there's no denying the work and attention to detail that someone has put into it. It made me smile anyway. The bottom yoke is green, top one polished. The same with the clocks, can't see it in this picture, but one clock cowling is green, the other polished. Green front brake disks, the wheels have shades of green the same as the tail unit.

youve really got to be in to green, and maybe it looks better in the flesh, but it seems a lot of money for what it is,and lets face it £2700 can buy you a blo*dy good bike!,and normally a none standard paint scheme is worth less unless it is done really well, and where are the suzuki transfers

Aside from looking like somebody's sneezed on it, I agree with you Ralph, got to be admired for attention to detail. Very tastefully done, if you like green and have a matching leprechaun outfit :-P
Good to say the previous owner has resisted the appropriate matching rim tape, bars and levers ;)

See, I knew the artist would appreciate it. :D
No arguments from me about the price.
Maybe it was done by a Celtic supporter.

Looks like a unique piece of work by someone with great skill and no taste.

so i know your paying more coz its a shop price and it looks imaculate, but lets not forget its atleast 10 years old,and as i am frequentley told on this forum a new sv650s with suzuki's cash back offer are going for 4k,so why would a 10 year old bike be worth £2700

Who said it was worth 2.7k, that's what they're fishing for, what they bought it for is what it's worth.
