Anyone got one? Any good? Do the vents work? Quiet or noisy? Internal sun visor give undistorted vision?

I've found the cheekpads digin a little to much, & persoanlly, the difference between sizes was abit of a joke. I'm a Small in Arai and it seems a Small is way to tight & Medium is to much play.

I've got one of the older shape ones and love it.
Yes the vents work, fit for me is good and very light and comfy.
I don't think it's noisy either but always wear ear plugs.
Not keen on the new ones with the silly drop down visor though.

Can't say if it applies here or not but I've got an IS-16 with a sun visor and for me it's a waste of time. I put it down once, breathed out and couldn't see a thing just misted up completely.

Wouldn't ever pay the extra again even if they do look cool

I have an IS-16 now and had a Caberg V2 before that. I won't buy a helmet without a sun visor. It can steam up when you flick it down, but it's just the temperature difference between up and down positions, lift your visor for a split second and it clears then stays clear. If you walk indoors whilst wearing glasses and it's a cold day outside, they steam up! What are you expecting from it, miracles?

Otherwise, it only steams up in cold or wet weather when stationary. Just flick it up and flick it back down when you get going again. It does steam up quicker than a normal visor, but it's closer to your nose, but if you sit still in traffic in cold or wet weather without a pinlock or similar your visor is going to steam up too. Sunglasses will steam up under those conditions too. You can treat the sun visor with an anti fog spray if it really bothers you, but for me it's easier just to flick it up, and a damn sight easier than stopping to put on or remove sunglasses.

dont know about your helmet but ive got a caberg vr2 with internal sun visor and pinlock and it never mists up,and i wouldn't buy a new helmet with out a internal sun visor

ive got a stealth sv, vents work perfect, visor never mists, bit noisy but with the noise reduction pads in its fine :) nice fit for me and one of the best helmets ive had. the only thing is the chin guard thing is bit annoying

Try the Shark S700.
I have An IS 16 for work and the Sharks far better for noise and comfort.The IS has a better sun visor lever system.

I have an AGV Stealth SV and even though it's my first lid it's the comfiest one I could get my head (and dreads) into. Caberg & HJC XLs were too tightand their XXL patterns, where available, were crap. The SV fits perfectly, the D-rings are well secure and I don't find it too noisy without earplugs. The vents do their job, my head is never too warm and the drop-down sunvisor is perfect; the action is good, level is easy to find on the left side, there no ripples or optical effects when looking through both SV and normal visor. The visor itself is taller than most so vertical and horizonal visibility is excellent, the only downside to this (and the lid in general) is that it mists up when I breathe through my nose as my nose is in line with the low edge of the visor. There are AGV breath-guards available that rise up over the nose to sort that though, so I'll get getting one of those soon. At the mo I wear a £5 bandana over the lower half of my face to stop the misting up, which works fine.

Overall, the lid is perfect for me in design, fit and use so I'd recommend one to anyone. Especially as you can find last year's designs on eBay for half price.
