View Full Version : Laptop batteries??
Anyone know a good place for laptop batteries online??
The one in the other half's Dell has died after less than 2 years but they're asking >£100 for a new one!!
I don't care if it's non OEM as long as it works fine and is safe and not from a company that can't even spell "battery" or "batteries".
When I was after a new one I just typed the battery model number (on the rear of the battery) in to eBay and bought one for £22.

I don't like eBay..
Would rather buy from a company which has been around a while and offers a warranty.

A warranty on something that might cost £22?
No, on something on eBay for £22 obviously not. But on one costing £50 from the UK, yes.

Mate eBay is ur best bet lots of genuine UK sellers from shops offering warrenties, I buy them all the time for older work machines and they are fine, I do try a d get genuine oem when I can as they are better

have you tried Amazon?
I bought a replacement battery for my Dell last year on Ebay for a bargain price of about £23

Hi - another vote for Amazon. Brought a replacement battery for my wife's Dell from seller CHARGER4U last year. Much cheaper than Dell, slightly lower rating (A/hr) than the original, but does what we need it to do...

Just got one of Ebay for my sons HP laptop, cost £16 with free postage, works fine.
And has a 36month warranty.
