Travel advice to mallory park needed!

Hey guys, i booked a training day at chris walker race school for thurs 19th april. Now i am just about to book flights from ireland but am looking for some advice for any of ye locals. I will be flying into birmingham on the day before, wednesday 18th. Is birmingham airport far from mallory park? What would the best way to travel between the two be? Taxi or bus etc. And can anyone recommend a place to stay, will be for two nights, over wed, race school thurs, home fri. Cheers!

There is a hotel right next to Mallory, cant remember what its called

Just using google maps it looks like about 31 miles from the airport to the circuit. Might be worth seeing if there was a cheaper option than taxi for that kind of distance.

I know I've stayed in B&Bs near mallory park, I think there's a travel lodge / travel inn nearby too.
