I have an Chinese Android Tablet with 2.3 on and its actually is pretty good but wont run flash either because of hardware.

Btw Ipad wont run Flash either

im just wanting to use bbc iplayer but i assume the ipad app on the bbc website wont work for me

If you know the model number of the tablet, a bit of google-fu will quickly tell you if the hardware is capable of running flash (or post it here and 10 people will google it for you!!). Example - my previous phone was a Samsung Apollo which I managed the upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2 but it still wouldn't play flash because the spec just wasn't up to it.

Actually, I used to use an app called Beebplayer on my old Android 1.6 phone. I believe it had been discontinued but you may be able to find the APK somewhere.
