When are people arriving for these meets at the moment? 7.30, or earlier?

6.30/7ish.

Now see yesterday I was all set to make it. But today I am not. Unfortunately Lisa is working lates for the next 2/3 weeks and the aupair has just started evening classes. I bet you guess on what night that might be...

Lisa will 'try' to let me know if she knows she will be home in time for the kids. But knowing Lisa's line of work, her predicting an earlier finish is about as likely as me actually ever finding my way to the Shire again this year. :(

I'll be riding the bike to work tomorrow regardless. So will have to see if a miracle happens and I get the early notification or not. Ironic that Lisa actually has the day off today.

Why are the polls always aimed directly at me?

Because you're the only person whose response is so totally predictable that it can be covered with a specific option.

Although I too now have the same excuse as Si. Who knows, we may BOTH turn up one day. I am mid - engine rebuild at the moment, so evenings are a bit busy. Knew I shouldn't have checked the valve clearances - ignorance is bliss as they say.

So is it just me this week then?

No. I have managed to free my diary. If someone is going to be there. So will I.

It's going to take me waaaay past the 1st service point on the bike but sod it, I've heard these things run better on a mixture of oil and swarf.

I'll be there about 7.

Okay cool. Expect I'll be there before then but you never know. Not gone from here to there before so will probably get lost along the way.

Philibut? You up for a ride to the Shire tonight? Or have I got to navigate my own way there?

Stig

CANCEL THAT!!!

Well did you expect anything else?

I got an email from the other half earlier and she said she would be home in time for the aupair to go to college. Hence me saying I would going to the Shire. Just got another email from her saying she will now not be home in time.

So again, I won't be there. ](*,)

Oh well. See you in two weeks. Maybe.

It's Canada's fault by the way.

OK, sod it, unless ten people appear in the next hour or so and say they're all going to pop along to the Shire tonight, I'm going to be nice to my engine and stay home. Next one after that'll be the 6th of March.
