Eyup folk, up for sale is my sv650, Its been a spot on reliable bike for the last year and a half ish but i have a TL on the way so she must go.

The bikes done 9500 miles, beowulf oval stubby end can with lifetime guarantee, beowulf rad cover, pillion seat and seat pod, accumen cat 1.1 alarm and imobilizer with 2 fobs (£299), on the last mot i got an advisory for rear pads and rear tyre near limit so the pads were changed last weekend and there will be a brand new set of dunlop qualifiers on the bike (not fitted yet but have been purchased (£170)), original exhaust if wanted, Tax till 31/03/2012 and mot till 27/10/2012. Originally the bike was restricted with an FI International restrictor but i have removed this, could be re-restricted if required. serviced at propper intervals.
Basically everything is sorted for a good few thousand miles of riding with no need to worry about anything.
* prices in brackets are what ive already had fitted to the bike, and are included in the sale (dont want people thinking there extra).

Im asking £2995 or near offer

Cheers,
Danny

150 Views and not a comment / offer? Anyone more than welcome to view / test ride so long as insurance and deposit is shown, All other bikes ive seen on bike trader are up for £4000 ish with similar mileage etc, i beleive its priced reasonably but as i say open to sensible offers,

Cheers,
Danny

Hiya mate, any chance of selling the seat cowl? I've found most people prefer the Pillion setup (except me) so if you consider selling then I can make you an offer.

Runako, Sorry but everything will be sold with the bike, it just seems like an all round package at the mo (and even that isnt enticing the buyers :() so if i start splitting bits it will make it less enticing to a possible buyer if that makes sence.

Cheers,
Danny

Right then folks, last bump I think, will cover the price for 12 months tax aswell. Think it might be bike trader time for it if no ones interested.

Cheers,
Danny.

Fair enough mate, they're like gold dust. Almost wish I had enough to buy a spare SV just for parts! I'm convinced you can sell all the parts for more than the complete Bike itself ;) Good luck with the sale mate.

Just one thing, (not bein an ****!) have you ridden since last yr? Mileage is the same as pic but it's 24 degrees. I'll have a think, if it goes on ebay then good for you and it's meant to be!

That picture was taken a couple weekends ago, and the 24 degrees is engine temp not outside temp so everything is exactly the same as the original post I put on here with all the details stated.

Right then, bikes ending on ebay in a week or so and ive only had one offer of £2400 which is a bit low IMO, ive just put 12 months tax on her and it should arrive within the next 5 working days but I cant get the tyres fitted this weekend as the place i usually take it is fully booked but if any buyer wants i can get the tyres picked up and give you them with the bike and ill knock £50 off so you can get them fitted yourself.

So if i said £2900 and you take the tyres seperate and fit them yourself, theres even £45 knocked off for a couple tanks of fuel.

A heads up...
just make sure you get some kind of insurance for the bike, as you've got road tax it's now the law for you to have insurance on it! even if you're not riding it! There's fines and repercussions etc... if you're taxed with no insurance.

Hope that helped a bit, Dan

Cheers for that, She's still insured so all is well, seems like a bit of a daft rule really to have it insured etc even if its not been used, ah well, who am i to question the law :).

£2800, Fit the tyres yourself and theres 12 months tax, Someone must know someone who knows someone who wants to buy her.

Think im wanting a drz 400 sm now, not going to bother with the TL as for the ammount I use the bike it isnt worth paying the extra money to run it and with a drz there may be a spot of greenlaning to try for a bit of a change.
