Just bought some trousers for spares, not bad for 30 quid.

Just bought the waterproof oversuit which looks fairly well made. Some neat details on it such as the the rubberised cuff on the inside of the leg bottoms which should help to stop the legs riding up my boots. There's a slightly grippier section on the @rse of them too so you don't slide about on the seat quite as much as you would normally when wearing waterproofs.
Bought two more pairs of the socks as well.

Just been to my local Lidl. Bought thermal top & under crackers, quality & fit not bad at all for the price but I would advise next size up. Also got a rain suit & kidney belt( £4.99). Boots, helmets & gloves I would personally give them a miss, the gloves were really lightweight summer ones with little protection.

my local lidl, had run out of the tank bags :( thats all i wanted, but i bought a pair of gloves for the winter as they where quite thick thermal ones.
nearly got some those long johns, but i dont have leathers so not for me really haha

I went into mine for some large under layers but they only had XL and above! :( Not that I was in the mood as I was sweating my ass off today, so warm! Might need to remove my liners already :/

they had lots of tank bags long johns and tops in my local Lidl today but i bet by tomorrow they wont have much left.

Picked up the tank bag from Halifax rd Sheffield. Quality seems pretty good. At first I thought the magnets were small and not strong enough but it held two, four packs of cobra OK (well I had to test it out with something) and did not move even at motorway speeds. I would say they are good value only time will tell.

Met up with a couple of bikers in Tynemouth in Lidl themals, they seemed pleased with it as well!
I would say that Aldi & Lidl use the same supplier as the patterns are similar. cheers Keith h

Be good to meet up. Just got in from a ride out with the Newcastle mid life crisis bikers ( military road-Kielder-Newcastleton-Carter Bar-home). Yes NMLCB suits me I know. Could have done with better thermals, Will have to get to Lidl tomorrow.

Ive had my lidl tank bag for 4 yrs now and its taken the stick of at least 20 weekends and weeks away ,aswell as being used everytime I go out on the bike.Cant fault it
