View Full Version : Bike ordered - at last
Whipeeeee..... finally, after bu99ering about for far too long, frittering each time I'd saved and of test riding all sorts of rubbish, its ordered.:D
Am I allowed to say Triumph?
2012 will be a good year...

I've gone for something more in keeping with my youth and natural athleticism...

Missionary work?
When I came back to bikes the intention was an SV but I got the VFR instead. Lovely bike, cracking (V-TEC) engine which I really miss but being a shortA it didn't work for me.

For light rubbish Dave, more in keeping with my gentle nature.

Just glad that after your recent worries you're getting on with life again.

Can't be the Tiger then :/
Careless was soooo close but Bib got it.
nice one Bri. thats the only bike that would tempt me away from an SV, the only reason i wont is that i can't make it low enough or i would have one tomorrow. cracking bikes. remember to get some nice cans or they sound like sewing machines having sex :-)
Arrow Low Boy is apparently pretty sweet :)
When is the delivery?

Ach Dagnamit... I spoilt it with one little letter.
You'll love it, and Lance is right they sound brilliant with cans. The Arrows are V-loud and rather expensive, but Triumphs own cans are nice too they look exactly the same as the originals and are about half the price of the Arrows.
Diz I've heard the low level kills the mid range.

The lowering kit, which is getting done, will take it down to 770mm - I too suffer from heavy gravity. I like the Low Boy, which makes using soft panniers easier, but had heard it messes with performance low to mid range - sounds wicked tho.'
Bike will be ready middle of next week but I'm away with work. Had an op on my back Tuesday so no mad rush to get out + I want it checking over by someone I can trust before I go daft on it.
Can't comment on performance but sound is great :) plus it allows to use certain luggage as you say.
Have fun :D
770 is still not low enough :-) my inside leg is 26''.
if i remember my sv is down to 730ish and i still can't flat foot.

Bit off topic but a cheer you up
My dad had a 52" waist and 26" leg which made trousers look very strange.
WELCOME--mr triumph man---hope you enjoy your new bike after such an absence

This is an sv forum? It might once have been, but these days it's more of a Triumph forum.
Lovely bike :) Good choice. I can almost flat foot a street triple with my 28" inside leg :D

Maybe his illness affected his judgment. I don't think we should talk about it actually. I just feel sad for him.:(;)

Girth knows a bit about triumph doesn't he ... Someone told me he knows more about triumphs than he does about women ...
So he knows they go well and need filling up regularly ..
And as for Triumphs ...
