Aldi motorcycle gear - for those that couldn't get it from Lidl

Just looked and found that Aldi will be having their motorcycle gear on offer from 1st march and some of their prices are cheaper than the Lidl stuff.

Got two sets of those last year and they're good kit and lasting well. Dont walk round the house wearing them though if you have to answer the front door or you will get strange looks, unless you have the shape of a beefcake :D

Sorry. I was googling to see if you can still pick this stuff up as Im a bit late, and this post came up.

Soooo - can someone tell me if they still do this, or is it a time-limited thing? Its still on their website, but the closest Aldi to me is far enough to be irritating if they dont even sell these anymore.

As far as I know, they get in a certain amount and once it's gone it's gone. I'd be surprised if they have any hanging around by now but you never know?

they have bits that haven't sold in my local places. Helmets that I wouldn't touch with a bargepole. A couple of chains/locks and some "waterproofs" etc. TBH I wouldn't bother.

TBF their 'specials' are a waste of time. Last time i went to Aldi for a special deal i visited 5 different stores, all in prime shopping locations and different counties. None of them had the special offer in store or even knew it existed. I think a lot of it is a marketing exercise

Stores do promotions at different times in different areas and stock is low/time limited up here so usually gone in a day.

this was supposedly a national promotion (all stores you would think this to be) with only 1 date it was meant to start on. Needless to say a well written complaint was sent to them

i've had a few bitz'n'pizzez from lid/ald and its not bad gear the best was their 'chill out' clothing and its bloody good for the price.
