hey guys, im thinking of doing some suspension upgrades in the near future.
so i ask what would be the ideal rear shock for a 17/18 stone ( about that i think) rider like me, i do pillion alot aswell, ideally least modifying to the bike, just want to swap it with out destroying the battwey box ect...
i found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-ZX-10R-2011-STANDARD-EQUIPMENT-REAR-SHOCK-ABSORBER-/260947455564?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3cc1ae2e4c
and i have a pair of 07 or 09 forks on my sk6 with hagon progressive springs, how ever there too soft, as when you catch that bump/hole you here them more or less bottom out/ make a nasty bang.
so whats my options people
thanks in advance
Josh

What bike you have would help.

Ditch the hagons and fit some grown up springs. Progressive might sound good in the advertising blurb but what actually happens is you bash straight through all the squishy top half of the travel and either bottom out or you're in a rock hard bit of spring anyway.

It would be a sv650 sk6 chris.
What are these grown up springs you speak of? I know I could put heavier oil in, but it does need to be cheap as I'm not that rich

Josh
this won't fit as tho mounts are wrong shape and i'm not sure about
the reservoir.
for minimum modification on the pointy, look for a 06-07 zx10r unit
or zx1400 or, if you don't want to raise the rear, somethng gsxr.
