The gear gaiter surround on my wife's Clio has come loose, the front clips have snapped off but the back ones are ok.

Thing is we're selling the car in a week or two so can't be bothered with the faff of unstapling the gaiter etc so hoping I can just glue it?

Not sure what to use though. Btw when I say 'leather' it's a standard 7 year old Clio so might be PVC or something less genuine.

Hot melt glue might do it

Just buy a stick and heat it

Araldite will do it I guess

Lots of multi-purpose multi-surface glues in tubes on the market too. Any DIY shop, Wilkinson or Robert Dyas will have one suitable.

I thought I could use a multi purpose one but will it be strong enough?

Won't araldite melt things?

Never known araldite melt anything

Polystyrene glue is the only glue I've used that melts things, usually polystyrene
