I have to make myself scarce on Sunday, so plan on getting out for a little bimble round Wales. Even have the route in mind :)

Nothing massive as i'd need to be back home for 5ish. Compulsory stop in Beddgelert for ice cream is in there :smt016
I think i've managed to persuade the wife we don't need quality time, would you like some company? ...as long as you don't mind waiting for me to catch up!

HoL I joke, it's true I was there on a couple of rideouts last year where people went tarmac surfing but that doesn't mean you have to :) just ride at your own pace and if I saw you dropping back i'd always slow down. Honestly I won't be going fast either, had a long lay off over winter so just getting back into the swing of things
If need be I can provide character references - YC, Bluepete, carelesschucca - all nutters

Edit: In fairness I believe that Dave was no-where near the scene when either of the incidents happened.

May just join you... Dave out of plaster now and back on his bike and is anxious to test out his new leathers and also see how far he can ride before it starts hurting him. Will text you on saturday and give a yay or nay, will depend on how his physio goes on Friday as it tends to leave him a bit sore :(

shame, im starting my gardening round back up this week end :/ so i'll be busy working whilst your having fun guys. enjoy yourselves and no crashing !
Sounds good to me sv4me and will everyone stop talking about crashing!! I'm gonna end up having the most paranoid ride of my life :(

I'm just keeping an eye on the weather and fixing my heated grips :).
Will know tomorrow if I'm coming, but I reckon I will. Itching to get out for a longer ride, commuted twice this week which was fun.

Pretty much rain all weekend guys, have fun and be safe if you do go out, we dont need any more sicknotes on dave's rides ;)
Just checked the weather & it's saying rain in the morning, rain in the afternoon (& snow in high areas!!). To save my cheap textiles making it look like I've wet myself after 5 minutes I'm gonna give it a miss tomorrow :(

I'm still in Harrogate and the weather looks naff in Wales, so I'm staying local tomorrow, prob take a run up Hawes way.

No probs guys. I'm in 2 minds whether to risk Wales or not, I looked at the bbc weather page before for Ruthin and Bala and it didn't look too bad. Go on metcheck and it says it'll be snowing :scratch:
I'll be resorting to the highly scientific method of sticking my head out the window in the morning and if it's not raining already, i'm going for it :)

Had I properly waterproof kit I'd prob give it a go. The waterproof membrane in my textiles has fallen out :rolleyes:

Did anyone go out? By me there was rain in the morn, nice sunshine then just as I was cursing the weatherfolk it started hailing. Whats that about
:smt045 gave Wales a miss. Had a run up to Rivington Barn instead on my old mans beemer, roads were a bit damp but weather stayed dry and the sun even had his hat on on the way home!
Shot some footage on the GoPro of me wrestling the big sofa through the bends. Note to self - don't take videos with the speedo in full view O:)
