How to get a virtual helicopter ride on your google maps.
Find and install - google earth plug-in.
go to google maps and in the top right hand corner, click on Earth.
When you plan a route - next to driving instructions there should now be a 3D> button.
Press it and get a virtual 3D helicopter flight thro' your route - excellent!
You can also pause it and move manually thro' yer map.:smt081
